Position: Java Developer - VIS
Location: Stockport, Cheshire
Salary: Up to 40K commensurate with experience

CDL is a leading supplier of software solutions to the UK insurance sector. Mycarcheck and mytextcheck are just two of the various brands of CDL VIS, providing businesses and the public with vehicle health checks using data from the DVLA, the Police and Insurers. We have recently expanded into vehicle telematics, making us the UK`s most successful processor of vehicle location and driving data for UK insurance.

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a greenfield project and assist in the building of a multi-skilled development team. We are looking for Java developers to help create and extend our data and processing capabilities. You will have ownership of feature development from solution design through to deployment.

Experience:
-You will have extensive Java development experience, ideally including build tools, IDE (preferably Eclipse) and unit testing.
-You will have strong communication skills and the desire to learn and grow in an agile environment.
-Experience of SQL, Hibernate, web services and web UI development are desirable but not essential.
