A range of secondary subject specialists are needed as a matter of priority for the next academic year, including:

Secondary English Language, Secondary Physics, Secondary Biology ,Secondary Maths , Secondary ICT and Secondary
Humanities

As well as a number of Primary vacancies.

The opportunity is open to all western nationalities, all levels of experience and those with families; there are creche
facilities at the school. New teachers are welcome to apply must be able to cope with a teaching environment that is as
challenging as it is rewarding.

The school is huge and serves a multinational plethora of children mainly from Arabia and Asia; indeed over 40
nationalities whose first language is not English. The school is a multi-site campus with a separate KG school, a mixed
primary school, and from Grade 5 the genders split housed in separate male and female schools. Facilities are typical of
an international school.

Salary is about AED8000 (GBP1340) per month but it is tax free. Sharjah offers a very low cost of living; taxis, fast
food and others are also cheaper than in the west and Dubai beaches are only 20 minutes away at the weekend. The school
also offers single occupancy furnished accommodation, local medical insurance and annual flights.

Sharjah is the cultural capital of the United Arab Emirates and offers an entertaining slice of local life in the Middle
East. It is within close proximity of neighbouring Dubai and the great beaches of Ajman, the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah
and the great diving coasts of Fujairah are all within reasonable driving distance.
