Great opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join one of the fastest growing businesses within a world leader in
imaging technology and be part of a team working primarily on leading edge products for the rapidly developing and
expanding automotive imaging market.

This role is ideally suited for a firmware engineer looking to expand their knowledge of image sensors, camera systems
and/or get more closely involved with customer imaging solutions. We are looking for driven individuals who have a strong
desire to find solutions, good attention to detail and who take great pride in the success of their customers

Applicants will be strong graduates with at least three yrs experience in embedded firmware development in C, using 16 or
32-bit microprocessors. You will also have working knowledge of logic circuit design and basic understanding analog
circuits (ADCs, DACs amplifiers).

It would be desirable to have experience with CCD or CMOS image sensors, Experience of scripting languages - Python,
Perl. Debugging experience of embedded hardware (familiarity with logic analyzers, bus analyzers, scopes and diagnostic
equipment). Experience of generation of customer-facing technical documentation, technical presentations etc.

Responsibilities will include:
Work closely with Design Team to develop firmware patches to enhance image processing performance of complex imaging
chips based on customer requirements.

Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to validate requirements for future product feature enhancements

Provide in-depth product knowledge to FAEs.

Work closely with Hardware and Firmware Designers, other Application Engineers and FAEs to solve technical issues,
optimize and tune product settings and capture and communicate requirements for new products.

Develop documentation, training and other collateral to complement products.
