Business development skills within wireless development for Broadband / Cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMax, ZigBee, UWB,
DECT, GSM/3G and custom radio solutions as a Product Manager or client manager within a fee-for-service product
development business within the UK/Europe will be essential.
You will be responsible for: identifying target companies matching technical offerings, creating focussed business
development / sales campaigns within the technology area, initiate client contact, develop business opportunities,
conduct pre-sales, develop sales opportunities into commercial relationships, lead bid teams, close sales negotiating
contractual terms and be involved in the delivery team, with ultimate responsibility for client relationships and
commercial success.
Essential skills are:
* 2:1 or 1st Class Degree from a good university in a technical subject.
* Considerable experience of wireless design and development.
* Experience of complex high value business development / technical sales.
* Strong market knowledge of the target industry.
* Project management experience, taking wireless products through the full life cycle.
* Market knowledge of current technology: Broadband / Cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMax, ZigBee, UWB, DECT, Bluetooth,
GSM/3G and custom radio solutions.
