Senior Day Care Assistant


Location: Abbeyfield Westall, Horsted Keynes, RH17 7BS West Sussex

Wage Rate: 8.58 weekday and 10.24 weekend

35 hours per week, including the weekend

As a Senior Day Care Assistant, you will oversee a small team to deliver person- centred care to residents. The role
involves creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, ensuring that every resident enjoys life with us to the full.
Duties will include monitoring the health of residents, administering medication and building respectful relationships
with residents and colleagues at Westall House.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate and interact well with people, be comfortable working as part of a team
and can empathise and understand the needs of older people. Needless to say, you'll have relevant experience working as a
Senior Care Assistant or similar roles, Health and Safety conscious, and NVQ Level 2 qualification with an expectation to
complete Level 3.

The role of a Senior Care Assistant requires you to be able to work with minimal supervision. But above all, you care as
much as we do and you're passionate about making all the difference for the care of older people.
