Healthcare Digital Project Executive Manchester 32k

Our client is a digital healthcare communications agency within a global group, partnering with the medical communications agencies within the group as well as working with our own clients.

The client services team in the UK comprises three project leaders, who provide digital expertise and oversee delivery of digital products and services. The Digital Project Executive controls project delivery, from scoping and budgeting to final deployment, for defined projects across a number of agencies, to ensure they have variety and the opportunity for personal development.
All of their work is in the healthcare arena, mainly with international or regional pharmaceutical clients.

The Digital Project Executive will work on multiple projects simultaneously - perhaps from 10 - 20 at various stages of development, and therefore requiring different levels of input at any one time. Projects vary according to scale and scope. Their 'simplest' projects may run for a few weeks, with larger scale projects running up to 6 months or even more. Project types include website design and development, video and animation, mobile applications/mobile-optimised websites, and various software applications for websites, touchscreen interactive programs, etc.
For all projects they take a strategic approach - they are not simply selling software applications.They work with clients to understand their communication needs and offering advice around how they should communicate with their audiences digitally. A key aspect of the role is to be able suggest digital tools to meet client need, and to scope out new or enhanced offerings, tailored to a client's particular needs.

For all their client services roles, the most important requirement is digital experience and a real enthusiasm and knowledge of technology and digital communication
As the Digital Project Executive will be required to work with clients and agencies to identify needs and make recommendations, an understanding of healthcare communications is strongly preferred.
Agency experience is also preferred, and an experience of managing software development would be a distinct advantage. In the absence of agency experience, we would be looking for someone who had managed defined projects in a commercial environment.
