The Maintenance Engineer will manage the maintenance of all plant and facilities as well as give training and support to
these areas. Leading teams regarding lean manufacturing and improvement, and be involved in key decisions for the
business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance plan.
- The planning and dividing the maintenance tasks to the maintenance technicians.
- The control of maintenance tasks.
- Budgeting maintenance costs.
- Improving the cooperation of the team.
- Building & Facilities Maintenance
- Site Fire Manager
- First Aid
- Procurement of equipment and service agreements.
- Craftsmen training, PPM activities, MTTF Studies, TPM activities
- Involved in key decisions for the business.
- Undertake site inspections and suggest improvements.
Authorisation
- Outsourcing work to third parties, within the established budget.
- Correcting maintenance technicians to the work carried out.
Knowledge and experience
- Minimum HNC Engineering/Maintenance or relevant
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering
